The AEM Manufacturing Express is officially in the equipment manufacturing capital of America: Texas. And nothing demonstrates the impact and potential of the equipment manufacturing industry like a brand-new manufacturer!

The AEM Manufacturing Express was honored to be a part of such a historic day for NXG Truck Bodies and celebrate with its entire team!
The AEM Manufacturing Express arrived in Mount Pleasant for the grand opening of NXG Truck Bodies—one of Texas’ newer innovators in equipment manufacturing. As the doors opened and the ribbon was cut, industry leaders, local officials, community members, friends, and family alike gathered to celebrate NXG and its exciting future. The company is expected to create approximately 100 jobs in Mount Pleasant by the end of the year.

NXG Truck Bodies President Joe Lewis cut the ceremonial ribbon, marking the beginning and future of NXG as a part of Texas’ thriving equipment manufacturing industry.
NXG’s founders have over 40 years of manufacturing experience, but they dreamed of opening a manufacturing facility focused on truck bodies. As construction on the facility neared completion, NXG President Joe Lewis pulled himself out of retirement to join the up-and-coming manufacturer.

NXG’s brand-new 110,000 square-foot manufacturing facility specializes in building premium steel and aluminum truck bodies with precision, durability, and next-generation features. From flatbeds and haulers to contractor and crane bodies, every product reflects a commitment to excellence for hardworking professionals and the industries it serves.
But the celebration was about more than truck bodies. The company’s arrival marks a significant investment in Mount Pleasant’s future with new jobs and business opportunities for local suppliers, community establishments, and service providers. NXG’s operations are already making a difference, positively impacting more than a dozen local companies employing over 1,400 workers combined, proving that manufacturing success radiates far beyond the shop floor.
NXG may be new, but its vision is clear: build the most reliable, innovative truck bodies on the market and uplift the community along the way. Its facility represents a launchpad for opportunity and growth.
The AEM Manufacturing Express was honored to help celebrate a company and team whose future potential is what this year’s tour is all about—celebrating the 345,000, and growing, men and women of the Texas equipment manufacturing industry.
Texas may be the Lone Star State, but it just added a new star with NXG Truck Bodies.
