WHAT
The “AEM Manufacturing Express” is a national mobile bus tour celebrating the 2.3 million men and women nationwide who make the equipment that builds, powers, and feeds America. This year, the tour is exclusively visiting communities across Texas, the equipment manufacturing capital of the country.
At each stop and online, people can take the Manufacturing Challenge – a one-of-a-kind industry-themed online video game that attendees and the general public can play by answering industry-specific trivia questions for a chance to win prizes.
WHY
The largest public engagement initiative in AEM’s 130-year history, the tour is designed to celebrate the U.S. equipment manufacturing industry – highlighting the industry’s economic impact, promoting the policies that keep the industry strong, and telling the stories of the men and women who make equipment in America.
Along the way, we’ll capture original media, captivating stories, and news of our journey on ManufacturingExpress.org, illuminating the profound impact of equipment manufacturing on cities, companies, and communities nationwide.
